What is the problem we needed to solve?
Our client supplies high quality organic food products to grocery and pet retailers. Large customers demanded EDI order processing including Advanced Shipping Notification. In addition, some co-packers were EDI capable and requested EDI purchase orders. Also, frequent calls from customers requesting order status was time consuming and cumbersome.

Adding seamless EDI functionality enabled our client to meet the demands of customers while expediting order processing and shipments. New trading partners are added quickly at nominal cost. Overhead cost per order has been reduced two-fold.
DASHBOARD provides order visibility
Orders are displayed in a calendar view on spreadsheets throughout the organization. This innovative use of Excel by grabbing Sage 100 data via ODBC means that everyone can see the order status and provide a higher level of customer service.
Inventory is maintained in multiple warehouses and at co-packers, so it is imperative to know quantities on hand to fulfill just-in-time customer requirements. Customer Service personnel have views of real-time inventory levels to ensure customer satisfaction.
